vPoint HD is VCON's latest software client for personal conferencing. vPoint HD not only encompasses the highest quality audio and video on the market today, but also includes features and functionality that move it beyond a desktop videoconferencing application. vPoint HD includes streaming capability, with VCON's HD Simulcast™, that allows vPoint HD to chair or participate in corporate broadcasts. Additionally, vPoint HD includes VCON HD DualStream, with the ability to view a data and video stream simultaneously. When coupled with SecureConnect, vPoint HD has advanced encryption capabilities, including DES and 3DES support. vPoint HD also includes the ability to send video emails as well as record and playback local videos, all through a built-in application called vMail. vPoint HD is versatile and a key application for any PC or laptop user vPoint HD has the highest video quality of any software-based personal videoconferencing application on the market today. Using the latest video standard, H.264, vPoint HD transmits and receives video quality similar to high-end group videoconferencing systems. With data rates from 64Kbps to 1.5Mbps, users can participate in videoconferences at various rates, depending on the available bandwidth.
vPoint HD's audio features include full duplex echo cancellation, automatic noise suppression and wide-band audio, all combining to deliver clear audio to the desktop.
